I was 12 years old when my mom injured her neck in a car accident. Her days were spent in and out of the hospital and most late afternoons and evenings in bed. That same year, my dad fell from a ladder and injured his back. With both of my parents out of commission, and a six year old sister to watch, laundry to do, and feeling stuck at home, I ate...

and I ate...

and I ate...

...until my legs began rubbing together, stretch marks appeared along the inner and outer parts of my thighs, my face rounded out more then it already was; and there I stood-fat, responsible, depressed, and pretty angry at the world.

I poured on the weight for another eight years until my boyfriend at the time said that I was very pretty but I could sure could use to lose weight in my legs.

OUCH!! At that point, I felt a sharp pain in my gut and I knew it was time that I get rid of the extra  weight for once and for all!

I went from this....

       to      THIS!!!      


As you can see from the pictures above, I went from a size 14/16, down to a size 6/8 and have been within a 10 pound range ever since! When I lost this weight, people wanted to know what I had done to lose the weight.

After allowing those "fat thighs" comment to torture me, I began my mission.

I had an enlightened thought that would lead me to helping thousands overcome their weight struggles. Here's what went on in my mind, it was something like:

"Well, if I wanted to get rich, I would study rich people. I'm overweight, I'm feeling horrible about my body, and clearly I need to lose weight before my self-esteem plummits any further. Hmmmmm....Maybe I could learn what skinny people do to stay thin! I have a ton of thin friends that never worry about this weight stuff like I do, so I'll start with them and then I'll ask anyone who will let me, what they do to stay thin. Oh yeah, one thing though-they have to be naturally thin. Not the type that struggle to stay thin, I don't care what they do. I want to copy people who have always been thin - those that make it look so easy!" They must know something that I don't."

Sure enough, that's what I did!

And over the years, I've interviewed hundreds of these "naturally thin people".

In studying these thin people, my waist band started to shrink, my pants began to sag around my tush and my collar bones started to show their little boney heads. I could even sit with my legs crossed comfortably, and my boyfriend said I looked like a model.

That was over 14 years ago and I've been doing this work for the last 10-11 years. I give people back their lives, back their self-esteem and back their beautiful bodies.
